2020: a year to behold

2020 will undoubtedly be the most memorable year of our lives for a multitude of reasons, but especially for the “Pause” it forced on all of us. A pause that has made some of us rethink our existence and purpose, a pause that has enabled some of us to reconnect with the fighter within.

From COVID-19, to a not-very-quiet summer of protests against police brutality and systemic racial inequality, to an unprecedented US elections with an even more unprecedented outcome and response, this year is one for the books.

Over here at The Peppered Goat, we have accepted our calling to provide nourishment for the people with the culinary gifts given to us by God, and a mandate to go out and cook, cook cook! We are certainly loving the challenges that comes with such a calling, and encourage you our friends to hang in there as well. Hang tight and better yet, let your light shine in the midst of all the gloom. Let us continue to strive for being the best versions of ourselves and let your light guide, as we stride along this path of uncertainty.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8).

INTRODUCING “THE SIGNATURE PEPPERED GOAT SAUCE”

The story of the signature peppered goat sauce just like most of our stories was a serendipitous encounter. For most of the summer, we sought to find the right mix of vegetables and herbs in our signature peppered goat dish, and in so doing inadvertently was creating something special as some of our customers have mentioned. Requests began coming from customers asking if we could make the sauce in the signature peppered goat dish for non-meat-eating consumers who would love to share in the savory flavors without being subjected to eating meat.

You spoke and we listened…

Despite a hectic summer schedule, we managed to find the time to work on preparing, packaging and preserving our signature peppered goat sauce just so you our customer can continue to enjoy its signature and distinct flavors.

We anticipate to meet all holiday orders but can only guarantee orders on a “first come first serve” basis.
